There are already many benchmarks in the Oberwolfach Model Reduction Benchmark Collection and NICONET Benchmark Examples, where most of the models are non-parametrized linear time invariant systems (first- and second-order).

In the benchmark collection here, benchmarks of many parametrized models appear public for the first time. Furthermore, benchmarks for many more nonparametric models from various engineering applications (e.g., circuit simulation, mechanical engineering, and control) are also included.

The motivation is to provide researchers in the fields of model order reduction, numerical simulation, computer-aided design, and scientific computing a platform for exchanging and sharing the resources for testing and verifying new ideas, numerical algorithms, and model reduction methods.

Where to find data

The Zenodo MORWIKI-Collection currently hosts some individual benchmark data and will eventually become the de facto repository for all benchmark data in the MORWiki.

How to select data sets

We are currently developing a Search Tool that will allow users to filter systems based on properties like size, linearity, symmetry, etc. Please check back often for updates.
